And so it begins..

Hello Brave World,

Let it be known amongst all and sundry out there, the great and the good..... I have now arrived on the blogging scene. I have been reading some great blogs for a while now and have finally plucked up the courage (or is it stupidity?) to dip my metaphorical toe in the water and give it a go. Any physical toes that get dipped in water will be removed double quick sharp unles the following conditions apply:
1. The water is nice and warm
2. The body of water is nice and clean and surrounded by tropical palms, sandy beaches etc.
3. A suitable supply of dusky maidens is available on hand to soothe one's fevered brow
4. Alcoholic refreshments ave available suitably chilled very close by

As can be seen already, it is easy for me to get distracted away from anything vaguely sensible. Is this going to be the style of this blog? It may be, it may not. I have not decided yet how this little adventure should proceed, if at al. I would hope to combine humour (well I'll think it's funny at the time of scribbling at least) with an amount of honesty. If that causes a problem to some viewers (are you viewers?) then so be it. No offence will be intended unless very clearly signposted, in which case I won't care if any offence is taken. For the literal minded of you out there though, please dont take anyone's fence unless you have clear permission to do so.

Well that's it for now, a small start but possibly a significant one (no sniggering at the back).
